Site Review: Wish I Could Feed The Bull

I recently came across a cool site called Feed The Bull. It’s a site similar to the concept of Digg where users can submit and vote on investing related articles. Users can also be granted points by submitting articles and voting for other sites. If you’re one of the determined, you can make it to top of the “user ranking” page.

I think it’s a brilliant concept that benefits both the readers and the creator. The users get a benefit of publicity to their name and their website by actively participating in the site and submitting quality articles. As a return, all of the readers get to find the best of the best articles relevant to stocks w/out investing additional effort themselves. Lastly, this all leads to more and more traffic to the creator.

The only challenge for the site would be to avoid becoming a site flooded with site owner’s links.  The site can add value if readers post genuinly interesting and value-adding articles.  However, if the links to articles are only coming from site owners who are trying to promote their site, it can undermine the quality of the site.

Nonetheless, it’s definitely worth checking out.
